Berlin in black & white

Here is the first series of photos from my quick trip to Berlin, back in June 2017. I had never been before and was quite impressed by the harsh contrasts of the city and the obvious weight of history. Some people find Berlin ugly. I found it fascinating! 

There will be two other series of photos after this one, each of which trying to highlight a different facet of the city.
