Pour cette dernière journée de festival, voici un autre concert que j'attendais avec impatience ! Encore une découverte faite grâce à mon amie Emilie, et relayée en live grâce aux Solidays ! Comme je l'écrivais précédemment , j'ai vraiment trouvé là deux sources précieuses pour ne pas perdre totalement contact avec la musique française ! Comment décrire Christine And The Queens ?... Third and last day of this year's Solidays...  But what a day! It all started with Triggerfinger... If you have no idea who they are and if you like rock music, I can only recommend you to rush and listen to them! I had the curiosity to check the Internet to see how they were described and I came across this rather funny sentence on Wikipedia about their debut album: "The album was well received by rock fans, with the band's sound being compared to bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, by the younger audience, and Led Zeppelin, by the older rock fans." I found it funny but it's quite accurate! A difficult choice had to be made on this second night at Solidays festival: Franz Ferdinand and Kadebostany were scheduled to play exactly at the same time... I gave this dilemma some thought: I saw Franz Ferdinand twice in one year, I never saw Kadebostany... Dilemma solved! Well, turns out this solution was no disappointment at all. What a show!... Self-described as the "new colonists of the pop empire", this band clearly takes you on a whole journey during their concerts. You have to get into the concept, of course... What they're offering you on stage is a whole new country. "Welcome to the Republic of Kadebostany", greets the electronic genius bent over his futuristic machinery like some sort of twisted puppetmaster. Obviously as a country, they have their flag.
