Sleaford Mods (Primavera Sound)

Another concert that really impressed me this year. I had been trying to see Sleaford Mods live for quite a long time... and I wasn't disappointed! After a difficult technical start, the duo was on fire. Full of almost spasmodic energy, the vocalist pounded out his angry, embittered words with his distinctive East Midlands accent. They're playing later this summer at Rock en Seine... I'm ready for the second round!
