James Vincent McMorrow (Solidays)

My first concert of this year's Solidays was Irish singer and songwriter James Vincent McMorrow. I had listened to some of his songs but had never seen him live. It was the perfect way to softly start a three day-festival: an intimate concert of ethereal folk. The longing, plaintive and beautiful voice of James Vincent McMorrow is the ideal companion for his pensive songs that take you on a quiet, subtly melancholy journey.
